Hosted by Tony Leodora with Special Guest Co-Host Tom Inglesby, Star Guard on the 1971 NCAA Final team and Member of the Villanova and Big 5 Hall of Fame.
A nostalgic trip through Villanova’s Final Four experiences – 1971, the NCAA Championship in 1985 and the magic of 2009. Special guests include 1971 head coach Jack Kraft, 1985 head coach Rollie Massimino, current player Shane Clark, current assistant coach and former star forward Doug West and current head coach Jay Wright.
Tony Leodora, WNTP’s regular host of the award-winning weekly GolfTalk Live radio show, takes a step back into his basketball past to relive Villanova’s greatest moments on the hardwood. Inglesby, who went on to play in the ABA and NBA before settling into the insurance business, has stayed in touch with college basketball. His son, Martin, is an assistant coach at Notre Dame.
They both lead the nostalgic walk through Villanova’s storied past, and with a lead up to the pre-game moments of the 2009 NCAA Final Four.
